Bergen Point Golf Club, located in West Babylon, NY, offers 18 holes of championship golf. The seaside layout on Long Island�s south shore plays to par 71; The links-style layout offers challenges to golfers of all abilities. Designed by famed architect, William Mitchell, the course opened for play in 1971. Four sets of tees change your approach; yardages ranging from 6,722 yards to 5,671 yards. The design is fairly wide open with generous landing areas for tee shots. Approach shots require accuracy, as the greens are undulating and well bunkered. Water hazards, which come into play on 13 holes, along with ocean breezes, offer a formidable defense for the golf course. Bergen Point offers a full sized driving range and over-sized practice putting green.
