Nestled in the heart of Manorville, New York, the Long Island Game Farm – Wildlife Park & Children’s Zoo stands as a cherished family destination since its establishment in 1970 by Stanley and Diane Novak. Spanning 29 acres, it holds the distinction of being Long Island’s largest combined children’s zoo and wildlife park, offering visitors an engaging blend of education, conservation, and hands-on animal experiences.
A Diverse Animal Sanctuary
Home to over 200 animals, the Game Farm provides sanctuary to a variety of species, many of which have been rescued, rehabilitated, or rehomed. Visitors can encounter exotic animals such as zebras, camels, emus, lemurs, and wallabies, alongside domestic favorites like goats, sheep, alpacas, and Sicilian miniature donkeys. Notable residents include Nala, an African serval cat rehomed from a domestic setting, and Gomez, a charismatic sulphur-crested cockatoo.
