Profile
Youngs Farm, located at 91 Hegemans Lane in Old Brookville, New York, is a cherished family-owned farm that has been serving the community since 1893. Spanning five generations, the farm is currently managed by Paula Youngs Weir and her family, who continue the tradition of sustainable agriculture and community engagement.
The farm cultivates approximately 15 acres of land using certified organic, sustainable, and regenerative practices. They grow about 50 varieties of fruits and vegetables, including tomatoes, lettuce, carrots, beets, string beans, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, and various herbs and flowers. To provide a diverse selection, Youngs Farm also sources produce from other local Long Island farms, such as Schmitt’s Family Farm in Riverhead, Wickham Fruit Farm in Cutchogue, and Fox Hollow Farm in Calverton.
Beyond fresh produce, Youngs Farm offers a variety of homemade baked goods and prepared foods. Their on-site bakery produces pies, cookies, loaf breads, muffins, scones, cakes, and bars, all made from scratch daily. The farm’s kitchen team prepares soups, pot pies, quiches, dressings, dips, and spreads, with offerings that change seasonally.
The farm stand also features a selection of pantry items, including jams, preserves, honey, dairy products, and specialty groceries. Additionally, Youngs Farm offers housewares and gifts, making it a unique shopping destination.
