East Hampton Golf Club

East Hampton Golf Course is the 40 year dream of the Bistrian family. Pete Bistrian, who owned and farmed potatoes on part of the land, first envisioned a golf course on the property in the mid-1940�s. In 1978, ground was broken. While it was a long wait before the course became a reality under Coore/ Crenshaw�s masterful guidance, the result is praiseworthy. �The Bistrian family wanted us to do the best for this property-and for golf,� Crenshaw attests. �We had a good time designing East Hampton and I think the layout presents a challenging mix of holes.�
