Description: The Comsewogue School District is located primarily in the Port Jefferson Station and Terryville areas of northern Brookhaven Town, in Suffolk County, New York. Our school district educates approximately 4000 students in four elementary schools, a middle school and a high school. In past years, New York State has given three of our schools recognition as Schools of Excellence in the national Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence Program. With over 84% of the Class of 2005 earning Regents Diplomas, Comsewogue is in the enviable position of having above average program results with a tax burden in the lower third of the 19 Brookhaven Town school districts...
